Barbara J. Albani, M.D., board-certified in neurology, radiology and neuroradiology, is Christiana Care Health System’s Medical Director of NeuroInterventional Surgery. Dr. Albani received her bachelors degree in biology and psychology, with a minor in neurobiology, from the College of Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. She then completed a year of postgraduate research in physics and radiology at the University of Pennsylvania before earning her medical degree from the Georgetown School of Medicine. She completed residencies in neurology and radiology at the Cleveland Clinic, where she also completed a fellowship in neurointerventional radiology and diagnostic neuroradiology.
