Mychal Lynn Anderson, M.D. majored in Spanish at Eastern Mennonite University and went on to earn both a master's in public health as well as a medical degree at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. She remained at Virginia Commonwealth University for residency in obstetrics and gynecology until joining the team at Christiana Care Health System in 2013. Dr. Anderson is fluent in Spanish and is a certified medical interpreter. She is also a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Medical Association.
